Land Acknowledgement

We respectfully acknowledge that we are on the ancestral lands of the Apsaálooke (Crow), Tséstho’e (Cheyenne), and Séliš & Ktunaxa (Salish & Kootenai), Niitsitapi (Blackfeet) and Shoshone-Bannock peoples, among others, who have stewarded this land throughout generations. We honor and recognize the enduring presence, resilience, and contributions of Indigenous peoples past, present, and future.

As we gather and work on this land in the northeast neighborhood of Bozeman, Montana, we pay our respects to the Indigenous peoples who continue to protect and care for this land. We acknowledge the histories of dispossession, colonization, and systemic injustice that have impacted Indigenous communities and lands.

We are committed to learning from and supporting Indigenous voices, perspectives, and artistic expression. We strive to cultivate an inclusive and equitable environment that upholds Indigenous sovereignty, cultural heritage, and traditions.

In our actions and endeavors, we pledge to uphold the principles of respect, reciprocity, and responsibility towards the land and Indigenous peoples. May we continue to listen, learn, and work together in the spirit of reconciliation and solidarity.
